“Art is my vital necessity, and my work is nourished by everything I feel pulsating”.
Through my work, I establish human connections, emotional bridges that I transform into the “pure” material of my creations. I explore macro-social phenomena and their logic through a methodology that treasures the intimate exchange of micro-experiences. I use “embroidered drawing” to create a bond between myself and the stories, between the stories and my work, between the artistic process and the finished artwork. I receive a gift from the people I encounter, and I return these narratives through my personal working practices: embroidered drawings, photography, video, audio, performance, and installations. The vitality of my work thus originates from the human connections I establish.
This process allows me to delve deeply into reality in order to find signals and messages with a strong ethical, political, and social impact. Under this influence, the fields of investigation are rooted in history and stories, in the works, in the performances—moving from interpretation to the generation of meanings, from alchemy to anthroposophy, to free-fall journeys, to the “leap into the void,” demonstrating that every risk has a direction and its own message of love, of devotion.
These “impossible cases” transcend Art, reaching into the immaterial and perceiving its moral dimension. I pay particular attention to both the natural world and the human world, aiming to highlight the relationships that unite them in unexpected ways. I analyze the element of diversity as a bond between worlds and identities that may seem unrelated but are connected by an intangible thread.
The focus on “stories” and the act of building human relationships is the guiding principle of my artistic journey.
